So i have taken time this weekend to weasel my way through blogger.com and have started to get a little more used to it. I still have some trouble seeing who follows who and trying to find people in our class but i feel through time this will become easier.
Reflecting on the presentations:
I thought all 4 groups did a very good job with the limited time, lack of written expectations, and with the dropping of half of the students. I enjoyed the powerpoint presentations because they had the ability to keep my focus which powerpoint could not in the past. The movie was put together really well and it was a very creative way to do the project. I think my groups use of the virtual timeline was also a creative way to present and also gave many students in the class a new resource for potential projects int he future. Like i stated in class one of the only negatives was the difference in what i learned between the topics i was to talk about and those the rest of my group covered. All-in-all i enjoyed this project and it was a very interesting way to begin the semester.
I look forward to debating the grading curve in class this week. Hopefully we will make some progress.
